Bob Zak, M.B.A.

Founder, CEO


Bob is a University of Minnesota alumnus, having graduated with an M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management and a B.S. in Environmental Safety Management. Now a training professional for over twenty years, he founded ZOTA Professional Training back in 2004. When not busy providing strategic direction to the business, he often enjoys spending his time relaxing with his wife on the pontoon and beating his children in obscure lawn games.

Meagan Zak


Meagan Thornburg, B.S.

Director of Operations


Meagan is a University of Minnesota alumna, having graduated with a B.S. in Biology. She has been training for ZOTA Professional Training since 2011 and has recently become the company’s Director of Operations. Meagan comes to us with a healthcare, science and organizational leadership background from Fairview and the National Marrow Donor Program. When not handling day to day company needs, she often enjoys crafting with her friends and playing with her shih-tzu.

Luke Zak


Luke Zak, B.A.

Director of Marketing


Luke is a University of Minnesota alumnus, having graduated with a B.A. in French Studies. He has been training for ZOTA Professional Training since 2013 and has recently become the company’s Director of Marketing. Luke comes to us with extensive experience in partnership development with Convention and Visitors Bureaus across the country. When not coordinating the brand and sales, he often enjoys knitting and playing competitive quidditch.
