American Contractors Organization offers Lead Safety Training in Portland, Oregon. The Environmental Protection Agency Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) rule states that if you are paid to perform renovation, repair, or painting work in houses built before 1978, you must be trained to do so. The local and state regulatory agencies require EPA lead certification to work on projects that may have lead paint. There are several lead paint certification courses that you can attend to receive your EPA lead certification, including initial and refresher courses both in English and Spanish. American Contractors Organization’s next Lead Renovator Initial course is on August 31 and next Spanish Lead Renovator Initial course is on August 24.
