The purpose of the EPA Lead Certification Initial On-Line Course is to train individuals on lead-safe work activity including:

- To understand the rules and regulations governing lead-based paint.
- To understand pre-renovation responsibilities

- To understand lead dust control measures, protection techniques and disposal considerations.
